The Meow Jones fell yesterday despite positive projections for strong fourth quarter

To everyone’s surprise, the following companies under-performed on the Meow Jones today:
⭕ Amewzon – which ships boxes – lots and lots of beautifully empty boxes of all shapes and sizes for all of your family’s daily and celebratory needs
⭕ Fuzzywell – which manufactures air purrification systems, keeping those floating fuzzies in your hidey hole to a minimum
⭕ JPMittens – which offers lines-of-credit to well-qualified buyers, including new mama-cats who need a safety net for litter-related contingencies
⭕ McDewClaw’s – which offers yummy cheezburgers to prowl-through customers
⭕ Pawsies & Gumballs – which, amongst a million other things, sells a lot of waterless shampoo to freshen up curious kittens and naughty meowsters
⭕ 3Meow – which manufactures excellent scratching boards that fabulously adhere to walls with sticky yet removable, edible glue – purrfect for micro-sized apartments in New Yowl City.
Analysts believe that lower-than-expected revenue spooked investors, transforming them into a bunch of scaredy cats, triggering today’s sell-off. Whether these companies continue to see poor financial results, and whether unmet expectations continue to erode investor confidence is matter left to be seen. But rest assured, at Meowsborough Weekly, we’ll keep a watchful eye on market trends driving companies’ profits through the holiday season until year's end.
Comments from our Editor-in-Chief, Emily Hoedl (a hooman!):
Meowsborough Weekly makes no representations about or predictions for the human-owned and -operated counterparts on the Dow Jones. The above companies are wholly owned and operated by cats for meow’s sake!
